Experience live music all summer with the return of the fourth annual summer concert series, Downtown Live!, presented by Downtown Fort Wayne and PNC Bank. Downtown Live! will host free entertainment from local performers every Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at PNC Plaza, beginning Friday, May 31, and extending to Friday, August 9, except Friday, July 5.
PNC Plaza, which spans a portion of the western edge of the PNC Bank building parking lot on Main Street next to Sweets on Main, is an outdoor public space designed to connect the community to attractions, businesses, and entertainment. The public space includes outdoor dining tables and chairs, a life-size chessboard, Twister, bike racks, umbrella shade sails, and Lyndy Bazile’s mural installation, Pontiac, provided by Art This Way, a program of Downtown Fort Wayne.
During this family-friendly event, dine or shop at one of the many surrounding local businesses while enjoying the vibrancy of the heart of the city. Activated throughout the spring and summer seasons, PNC Plaza connects the public to access points throughout the city—from The Landing and Promenade Park to the Embassy Theatre and TinCaps Stadium at Parkview Field.

Downtown Live!, hosted at PNC Plaza, falls within the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). Event attendees and patrons 21 years and older may purchase alcoholic beverages from approved alcoholic beverage permittees within the DORA and carry them outside to be consumed within the DORA’s boundaries, including at Downtown Live! at PNC Plaza. Patrons may only purchase alcoholic beverages through establishments licensed through the Alcohol & Tobacco Commission, and the alcoholic beverage must be consumed from a designated DORA cup sold from the participating approved permittee within the DORA boundaries.
