Fright Night

Downtown Fort Wayne is thrilled to announce the return of Fright Night—presented by ProFed Credit Union and Downtown Fort Wayne—on Saturday, October 18, 2025. 

Now in its 16th year, this beloved event draws thousands of costumed participants and families for a full day of silly, scream-worthy fun.

The festivities begin at noon at Zombie Central, located at the Allen County Public Library Plaza. Attendees can enjoy themed activities and entertainment throughout the afternoon. The centerpiece of the event, the ever-popular Zombie Walk, will step off from Zombie Central at 3:00 p.m., with thousands of undead participants expected to flood the streets.

Fright Night is a free, family-friendly event with fun activities for everyone. Street parking is free on Saturday. For more parking information, check out the Downtown Public Parking map.

Brain-Eating Contest Details & Signup:

• Must complete the following form by October 15^th to enter: Brain-Eating Contest Signup
• Participants who have filled out the form will be randomly selected to compete
• Must be at the ACPL Plaza for check in at 1:45PM; We will start taking names from the waitlist at that time.
• Stage line-up will begin at 2:15pm.
• Contest at 2:30PM.

Winner receives $100 Yiftee gift card. Winner of the contest and a friend will also carry the banner and lead the Zombie Walk as the “Zombie Master” which be held at 3:00, shortly after the contest.
