Social Media Request Form
Do you have something to promote in Downtown Fort Wayne? If you’re (a.) a business owner or (b.) an event organizer looking for some social media awareness, submit the form to request a social media shoutout on #DTFW’s Facebook and Instagram channels.
Check out the following rules to see if you quality:
1.) Your business or event must be within our district to qualify for coverage (see map here).
2.) In accordance with our bylaws, we are unable to promote any political or religious content.
3.) If you’re looking to promote something that’s time-sensitive, like an event or sale, please submit your request 4 to 8 weeks in advance, so we can prioritize plans in our content calendar accordingly. If your request is not time-sensitive, we will schedule your content when there is an opening.
4.) Due to a high volume of requests and commitments, we may not be able to cover your request—but we’ll do our best! Even if we cannot post something to our feed or grid, we’ll try to share your content in our Stories and our weekly newsletter (if applicable). For Stories, please tag us in your content, so we get notified: @downtownfortwayne
How it works:
1.) Submit your request using the form below — at least 4-8 weeks before you’d like to see your shoutout on social media.
2.) Once we receive your request, we’ll do our best to add your business, event, or promotion to our monthly content calendar. If your request is accepted, our content team will come out to take our own photos or video — no need to send us any creative, photos, or videos!
3.) You might not hear from us prior to your post going up, but we’ll be sure to tag you when it’s published!
