FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Experience the beginning of the warmer seasons during the fourth annual Fort Wayne in Bloom: Nature’s Awakening, a spring window decorating contest presented by Downtown Fort Wayne. Celebrate nature’s awakening by incorporating elements such as birds, butterflies, and greenery into your window display.
There will be two juried categories: Most Thematic and Best “Instagrammable Window.” There will also be a People’s Choice winner based on online votes. The winners will receive a Downtown Fort Wayne Yiftee Gift Card, which will be emailed the week of May 20.
Contest Rules:
– Contest theme: Fort Wayne in Bloom: Nature’s Awakening
– You must submit one (1) non-photoshopped, high-res photo, 300 DPI or greater, of the decorated window. As a note, a photo collage will not work. Please submit a photo to events@downtownfortwayne.com by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024. This is a firm deadline.
– Please remember the contest is on the window, not the photo; the point of this photo is to help drive foot traffic to your location for voting. Only one photo per entity will be posted.
– Downtown Fort Wayne will post an album of all the windows on the website so you can vote for your favorite. Voting begins on Monday, April 22. Each voter will be entered to win a Downtown Yiftee gift card—one vote per IP address.
