This year, the Grand Wayne Convention Center celebrates 40 remarkable years of service. What began in 1985 as a hopeful endeavor by city leaders to give Downtown a “boost,” has since racked up multiple national awards, brightened our cityscape, and brought millions of dollars to the local economy each year.
