Early Bird Ticket Sales Ending Soon and Artist Lineup Announced for the 2024 Art This Way Art Crawl: Alley Bash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. –Art This Way, a program of Downtown Fort Wayne, presents the 2024 Art This Way Art Crawl: Alley Bash on Friday, September 20, from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. in Downtown Fort Wayne. Early bird ticket sales end on Saturday, August 31, and can be purchased online for $15 per person.

There will be numerous experiences at the event, including a silent disco, 360-degree photobooth, YWCA’s Chalk It Up preview, ‘On Wings of Hope’ photo opportunity with authentic vinok, ‘Welcoming Spaces’ mural experience in partnership with Amani Family Services and Welcoming Fort Wayne, and floral displays. Artists along the Art Crawl will demonstrate their craft. Featured artists include Theoplis Smith III, aka Phresh Laundry, Tulip Tree Healing Arts Collective, ceramicist and painter Joseph Pelka, Kind Goods, Diane Young, Matilda’s Way Art, Art of Maeve, Floormallow Media, John C Kelty Watercolors, Sol Eye Glass, Lucia Inman Valero, Emily Mercedes Art, and more!

Live music will be held in all locations within the art-filled alleyways of Downtown Fort Wayne, known as the Double Plus, including The Porch Off Calhoun, Wayne St. (between Calhoun St. and Harrison St.), and the alley behind JK O’Donnell’s. The performance lineup includes James and the Drifters, Farmland Jazz Band, Vox Deco, Intrepid Cat, The Mad Scatter, a silent disco with DJ Trend, The Ragtag Bunch, DJ Polaris, Los Electro, and more! Cash bars at the Art Crawl will be provided by local restaurants, including 816 Pint & Slice, Dana’s, Dash-In, and JK O’Donnell’s.

Art This Way is seeking additional volunteers to help during the event. Volunteers get a free t-shirt, a ticket to attend the event before or after their shift, and our gratitude! Sign up for a volunteer position online today to play a critical role in the success of this annual fundraiser.

Last year, the event drew over 5,000 attendees, elevating program awareness, spotlighting local artists, and raising additional funds for public art programming in Downtown Fort Wayne.
