BSU design Projects for USF in Fort Wayne for review

What: Public review of winning design projects produced by Ball State University architecture students as their vision to transform a city block owned by the University of Saint Francis. Approximately 70 students participated in the Indiana Concrete and Masonry Competition. USF is not obligated to act on any project. Ball State, USF and city officials will be present for comments, along with student architects with their projects and Fort Wayne architects invited as judges for the competition. Six winning student projects consisting of three boards each, layouts, renderings and other information, and three-dimensional models of the proposals will be displayed.

Why: Presents an opportunity to talk to the students about their vision for the particular Fort Wayne city block. While the projects do not end in actual construction, they provide a window to the many future possibilities the university could consider.
